This Quote says it all! I am at loss of words tonight, and I just have to say thank you to my entire Team! It was a long week last week, however this week closed out well!
I was able to acquire my first win on a mare (Holly)  that a lady I respect, Kelly Bruner, raised and trained!

The funny story about this special mare is that, back in the end of 2014 Kelly was walking around BFA holding some papers for a mare named Star Zone, which I snatched up even though at the time I didn’t have a pot to piss in because I was going through a tough life lesson phase most people go through in life.... however I had a good gut feeling about the mare so I took a chance and snagged her!

Kelly went on to place deep in the Juvenile on a filly out of Starzone by Dinero... Kelly, her husband Jack Bruner, and I developed a friendship over that broodmare trade!

I cheered for Kelly during the finals a couple of years ago when she was competing, and French Zone really stepped up for Kelly at that particular finals!

Jason Martin loved that mare from the moment he watched her at the NFR, and the beginning of July 2020 Highpoint Performance Horses purchased French Zone from Kelly and Jack!

I owe so much thanks to Jack and Kelly for all their help and encouragement, because it has been a little bumpy trying to get with a mare that is trained a little different than I ride... so I had to really adjust and change my riding.

Thank you Jason, Charlie Cole, and Dan Houck II for your patience while I struggled to get my timing with this special equine athlete!

This win was so special because Don Lee was able to be on a horse we raised to help walk Hollywood in the alley! She really went above and beyond for me tonight and I hope I made Kelly proud because she did an amazing job getting this mare to where she is! Thank you!

I have to Thank Jack Bruner for going above and beyond to help Stinger get back ready to be on the trailer to pull his weight too! I ran him Thursday and Friday at a couple of Jackpots, and he feels so good! Thank you soooooo much!

Robert Gifford, you are such an important part of the team! He goes above and beyond to take care of the horses and rig while I travel back and forth from the rodeo road to home!

Cutter Holloway, thank you for putting some fast shoes on the girl before we head west!

I have a fabulous team, and I just can’t tell them enough how much I appreciate them all!
