Success is not final. Failure is not fatal. It is the courage to continue that counts.
Courage is defined as the ability to do something that frightens one. TJ is the sweetest most gentlest, softest horse…except when he’s scared. For him, the spot that terrifies him is the commitment to turn the right barrel.
I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t scared too…not that he would hurt me…but that I’m not helping him become the best he can. I’m SO GRATEFUL for the ladies that have helped me!
From Sharin Hall, totally different style than what I’ve known, HUGE game changer in what I learned from her. Sidenote: she has an incredible opportunity for someone to learn & work for her! Check out Sharin Hall Barrel Horses fmi!
Sam Boone, more game changer knowledge for me! The way she worded and explained things to me clicked… I don’t have the habit’s cemented in my brain and body YET, but I’m getting better ;-)
Sherri Barnes, suggesting simple adjustments! HUGE difference for my HUGE horse!
Trinity Beauvais…my sounding board, voice of reason, continually helping me…even when it’s tough love.
Lauren Merica, not only sharing your facility but being a great person to ride with and learn from!
Thank you, thank you ladies!!!
