2018 WPRA World Finals Recap & Henderson Pro Rodeo
Everyone goes through times where you really just become a tick overwhelmed.... the beginning of this week was very trying for me; however I was so blessed to be surrounded by good friends, family, and people that work with me! Thank you Tracy Peacock Henderson and Jody for helping me transport all my horses down to Waco! I had to really try to find the spirit to get down to Waco....
Friday things started to turn around; my horses overall worked well.
I was so so proud of Boom Goes the Fame! I believe she is finally sound and feeling good! She placed sixth in the first go of the wpra derby, second in the second go, and she ended up second in the average! Dash ta Jones placed 6th at Henderson pro rodeo, and he had a solid 1d run today in the open. (Both horses are owned by Jason Martin and Charlie Cole)
Turn n With Ease has to sub in for Feel the Sting in the card race. He qualified back in the top thirty. I was proud of him. Thank you Sondra Jefferis Blair for allowing me to ride him.
I also played the game that they have every year, and visited every booth to acquire a stamp to be able to play in the drawing game! Somehow, by shear luck I ended up winning the drawing and winning the two horse Exiss trailer! That was so much fun! Thank you Exiss Trailers for donating the trailer! So cool!
I loved seeing Kiss This Guy and Erika Renea winning reserve in the permit race! Congratulations 🎉....
It is always fun when my niece is able to come and spend the weekend barrel racing!
