Pop The Bubbly is a 2017 Gelding by Fury Of The Wind owned by Andrea Cline and Lee Pedone

How long have you owned him? â€œJagersâ€ Ownership changed to Lee Pedone and I at the end of October or beginning of November 2020.

Can you tell us about the acquisition by you and Lee Pedone? We are half and half on everything half-and-half on all costs and then half and half on all winnings itâ€™s actually a great partnership. Heâ€™s easy to talk to, heâ€™s been in the industry as an owner for a very long time, he understands what it takes to maintain one he understands the costs.

Any unique characteristics? Heâ€™s almost the perfect horse I call him an old lady horse he is wonderful to ride on a daily basis and be around. Heâ€™s a little bit grouchy and grumpy and he has a cute thing where he sticks his tongue out to the side all the time. He does it when Iâ€™m riding, does it in a stall and sometimes he does it in parts of his run.

Have you ridden other Furyofthewind offspring? Yeah I have ridden two others. I own another gelding and he is extremely easy-going as well very talented and I patterned a filly who is extremely athletic and very talented but sometimes had a bad attitude so I let her go.

How would you describe your riding and training style?
I am very disciplined about rider body position during the training process which flows into the competition runs when the rider's body position is correct nine times out of 10 the horses will do everything correctly. As far as my runs go I really leave it up to the animal, less is more because when it comes down to it theyâ€™re the ones that are going to shut the clock off. I donâ€™t try to beat them out of a turn, I just try to stay out of their way help them when I am needed. I keep it very simple.

What does your upcoming barrel schedule look like?
Jager will be going to the Elite the Copper Spring Ranch Futurity the following month is the BBR Futurity, the Ruby Buckle and then Fort Smith off the top of my head.
